Talk About Your Bad Days!!!

Man I was so late for work this day. It was the same of the American Idol Finale. I know this because it was the reason for my being late. The traffic is always a nightmare when Hollywood decides to throw a shindig near my neck of the woods. Speaking of Hollywood. I feel compelled to mention my latest Celebrity Sighting. That being Mr. Aston Kutcher. True story. I was in the elevator with him at the CNN building where I work. What drew my attention to him was his outstanding cell phone. I was going to the 5th floor of the building and he was going to the 7th I think. I said to myself that is him about the 4th floor reached for my digital camera imediately then powered it up then the damned elevator doors opened. I foolishly stepped out of the elevator aimed the camera at him and he covered his face away from the camera. And furthermore since my chip was almost full of other photos the damned thing flashed and the elevator door closed. I took a perfectly good picture of an elevator door lol. I was so angry with myself for missing that photo op. Aston buddy I only wanted a picture. Hopefully our paths will cross again.

An Exciting Time for Hollywood!!!

Why you ask well guess who actually performed the opening set of the Daytime Grammy's this year. Well, it was none other than the most awsome solo artist alive in my opinion, none other than Mr. Rick Springfield himself. Unbelievable? And where was I during this amazing performance? F@#$!!! I was at work within five miles of the event unknowing that the damned show was occurring. This happened two Fridays ago and I am still kicking myself. So at my job we moved from one locale to another and it required quite a bit of focus to make sure the set is something to work with. After I got off work I turned on the tv and remembered at the same time that the Daytime Emmy s were to feature a Rick Springfield performance and I can't hate my actions that day enough to deter me from catching that show It was totally outdoors so I could have most likely have seen it for free. It was the defining RS moment and I missed it for work what a major fumble. Well after the fact and while the Grammys was going on I managed to catch the Daytime soap actors exiting the building that Rick Springfield put into kickstart mode with his fantastic songs. I cannot get enough of his music.
